The Seaside School Half Marathon & 5K, presented by Seaside, is back, launching its 22nd year of racing.
Registration, presented by Visit South Walton, is now open for Race Weekend from February 16th through 18th, 2024, further establishing this event as a signature running event and paramount fundraiser in Northwest Florida. Join Camp Helen State Park staff for a Guided Kayak Eco Tour on Lake Powell, the largest coastal dune lake in North America. Must be 12 years of age or older and able to independently navigate your own kayak. Reservations are required - call the park at 850-233-5059.
Tours begin promptly at 9:00 AM, meet in the Visitor Center. Cash only fee is $30 and includes park entry, watercraft rental, life jacket, paddle and a donation to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park.
