Frankly I won't feel too nostalgic about the Pig when we leave. ;-)
Some nice people work there though.

Did anyone see that Whole Foods is buying Wild Oats? Probably most of y'all are not that familiar with Wild Oats, they were one of the first natural food grocery chains and I remember shopping at their very first store in Boulder back in the '70's.
I think Whole Paycheck is feeling a bit of a pinch with competition from other markets. But when they moved into Denver, we knew that Wild Oats would not last long--I am surprised they lasted as long as they did.
On Amelia Island, the yupscale grocer is Harris Teeter. They are actually quite a nice store, they are in several southern states.

My wife went. She liked it.

Her main two comments:

"It's no Whole Foods."
"For The Health of It has nothing to worry about."

I guess she was expecting more of a health food thingy. Somewhat disappointed about that.
