June Grass

How's the June grass? We're thinking about coming down this weekend for some fishing if the water's clear.

seacrest beach wasnt too bad yesterday. It's there .. but its hit or miss.

It's here in Santa Rosa Beach, but it's been worse. We had a fairly windy few days from Dolly that buried most of what was here cleaning things up pretty good.

Ditto. It's hit or miss, depending on where you are. In Grayton yesterday, it was clear along the shore, yet 20 yards out, it was thick (not good for fishing). At second sand bar, it was clear. Dune Allen looked very clear. Here today, gone tomorrow. Just shop around at different areas, and be sure to take some beer, for when the grass is dragging down your line. There is nothing like have a big fish on the line, when you cannot real it in due to all of the June grass piling up on your rod tip.
