Anyone know who might be the best sports ortho around these parts. Low Back specialists preferred. Any help is appreciated. TY

Well, you and I are in a similar boat, I will give you the best info I have been given. I came from Tally and I have a Level 2 Trauma Ortho, and he is SO wonderful. He has made me come back to him, not wanting anyone else to mess with me. I have heard that the Sport, Spine and Pain clinic in Miramar is good, they do not do legs or any prostetic or metal implants (thats me). There is also a gentleman in Fort Walton that has a large sports Ortho clinic. Then in PC there is pain management, Dr. Shores and I know there are ortho's there, but I am not sure the name. Pain management as I am sure you are aware is the one that the ortho's kick you to when "their job is done". I have just discovered Dr. Smith (Waterside Chiro in Miramar) and they have ultrasound therapy which works great with my hip and leg as well as my lower back. I developed a limp before I could walk again. The muscle still gives me fits, especially in my paraspinals. Hopefully this will help some, there arent a ton of these guys around. If you have any more questions, I can try to help. I have searched all avenues. Have a good one.

I recommend the Hughston Clinic in Columbus. They put both of my knees back together for me. Wonderful place but a little drive for you.

Thanks for the replies. Seems the oral roids have helped along with some rest. Thank God for Dr. Roll at Seagrove Medical. A real caring Old School physician. Also went to the Tortoise Clinic. Electric Stimulation Accupunture Very Nice. Can't wait to brew up the Tea they gave me!
Found the Spine Center in Atlanta. Dr. Capius from a friend. Great credentials and seemed to really wanna help out a stranger. Sending my MRI to him for a real opinion.
So anyone with a low back blowout feel free to ask me questions. This is my 3rd, not a charm either, and i'll be glad to help.
