Goatfeather's Seafood or Shrimpers before I perform the following:
Purchase several pounds
Peel (except tail), de-vein, and butterfly them
Dip in egg wash and roll in crushed saltine's
Fry to golden brown
Serve with a little cocktail sauce (ketchup and horseradish to taste)

Bayou Bill's has very lightly breaded, butterfly shrimp...my favorite restaurant shrimp.
Now that D & K's is gone, Shades at the loop is my favorite now.
JB's Chinese Restaurant in Freeport. Lightly fried and party of the whole buffet. Delicious...
Seagrove Village Market....
I have to agree with the Nick's part. Go West on Hwy 20, a few miles past Freeport. Old school Florida !Dusty's in PCB- taste like they jumped out of the Gulf and into the fryer.
Nick's in the Sticks too-
Tried the shrimp poboy at Shade today; the shrimp were nice sized and pretty tasty. I'm thinking I still like Stinky's better than the rest of the places I've had shrimp baskets down here. I do like Seagrove Market Cafe, too-I had their cheesesteak yesterday and it was really great!
Another vote for Nick's in Basin Bayou.
