We just returned from a week+ stay in Santa Rosa Beach and have now caught the Florida bug! (Oil or Not!) We own a 39' 5th wheel travel trailer that we use as a guest house here in Arkansas. We thought there would be nothing better than to move it down to Florida so we can come down more often. We both work at the FedEx HQ and really love it here but would love to find a place for the camper to be our second getaway place. Does anyone know of a piece of land or place we can move the trailer down to. We are open to yearly lease/rent or purchase. There is only the two of us now that the youngunns are grown and gone so we could make week trips quite easiley. Of course the closer to the Gulf the better, but we understand cost and do not mind a small drive to enjoy the wonders of the Emerald Beaches.

You could rent a long-term space at Peach Creek RV Park on 98 just east of 395, 850-231-1948. And you could tak fed-ex into moving HQ to NWFBIA.

Only problem with that is this poor town would most likely die if FedEx moved out! We have been thinking of a long term space but was not sure if anyone provided them. I will definitely look up Peach Tree.

One of the better posts this week IMO, and I couldn't agree more. SoWal is better than 99.9999999% of the places in this country even with the threat of oil....
