Well, nature is alive and well out in Historic Point Washington at the Bowman Bayou! We caught this Black Tip shark off of our dock over the 4th of July holiday.
He was a pup and weighed 8 lbs. I was completely thrilled to see one live and up close for the first time (and not...underwater with me somewhere :shock. We spoke with a fisherman in a kayak the next day, and he said he had caught two small ones about 8-10lbs up further in the same bayou as well.
We also caught sting-rays and oddly enough, a wide mouthed bass on that same day. Oh, and big shrimp with the bait net! Plus the usual mullet, catfish, and a couple of days the blue crabs were really strolling in... what a place to live.
