In all the years I've been coming here, I've never seen a patch of June grass like this one. It is so heavy that it seems to have actually changed the shape of the shoreline in front of it! I watched a child walk through it and the stuff came up to his ankles!!!! In the footprint was no sign of sand! It's just a small patch right behind the house were in. ...interesting!!!!!

I do want to add that the water is nice and clear with very small amounts of June grass just a short distance away from this patch in either direction...it's as though all the stuff from all of the 30A beaches was pushed into this one little spot in Seagrove!;-)
Spotty grass in Watersound thru July 23rd but clear as a bell as of Monday the 26th
