I've never had the pleasure. It must be delightful!
My late SO came home one day in the late 90's (from building a gulf front house at Inlet Beach) so excited because he'd seen 2 deer come bounding out of the dunes, race down to the beach, leap into the surf, and go for a swim! He'd never seen such a sight, despite a lifetime in Florida near the water.

I would LOVE to see deer on the beach..

yep, but i wouldn't recommend walking the chihuahua at the library.

I'm all for it! As long as they don't leave a deposit....

I just learned that the owl I'm hearing at night is a great-horned owl. I was told that they, too will prey on small dogs if left unattended at night.

wonder if my Rott ever feels nervous out there.
