had a close-up with a very big i'm guessing bull shark in my yak last week.. heart was pounding.. they are out there..
yes but not because of that. I was in the kayak and the shark was 3-4 feet long I'm guessing. I really didn't thing I had anything to worry about.
Nope. Not for a lack of trying either. Chased it as best I could. Even stood up in the yak to get a better angle. That sucker disappeared!
Talked to another yacker out there. He said he didn't see that one but they are always out there. It's only the 2nd one I've seen in 10 years. Pretty cool sight.
I have a pic somewhere of one we caught from shore (not trying to) that was at least 4' long. Caught last May in Dune Allen...early in the morning...

on a lighter and less scary note, we saw dolphins frolicking in the big waves earlier this week-they looked like they were having a great time!!

Chill Monica. This was days ago at Seacrest Beach and I was pretty far out in my kayak (2nd green stripe). Saaaalllll good
