I eat them raw w/ smoked gouda and a glass of sauvignon blanc.
They are also very good baked in the oven - just thread them on a skewer and cook at 350 (with a drip plate on the rack below). This is good smeared on bread.
Renee makes a good preserve with honey to keep the sugar content down. Grandma Scooterbug loves it and she won't eat ANYTHING these days.
