We are so excited, although we are elderly, but bearing no unforeseen complications, we are retiring to
South Walton at Christmas! So many years of renting the properties, worrying about the hurricanes, watching the
Markets, buying and selling at the best and worst, are hopefully going to bring us to the place we love the most!

njackie! Retiring in South Walton is our plan too. The home where we plan to retire is under construction. Everything on the first floor is for us and ADA. The second floor is for our daughter and son-in-law and our future grandchildren. Once the real estate situation gets better, we will put our big home in GA on the market. No rush because it's paid for. We always thought it would be passed down through the generations, but I think our daughter and son-in-law will end up in Boston after he gets his Ph.D. in robotics. When that home sells, we will probably buy a condo as a second residence wherever our daughter and son-in-law end up.
