Hello everyone!

Atlanta person here, long time visitor to the Emerald Coast and soon-to-be full-time permanent resident on Santa Rosa Beach. Just beginning the building process, hoping for a move date of April.

I was born and raised in Atlanta. Our new home in Seagrove will be ready in December. Even though we aren't ready for retirement, we're building it with that in mind. Everything we need will be on the first floor and will be all ADA. Second floor is for our daughter and son-in-law and future grandchildren. We will not rent it. It will be our secondary home, and when the market ever gets back so we can sell the big house for more than the columns are worth (lol), it will be our primary home. Then we'll get a condo near wherever our daughter and son-in-law end up after he finishes his Ph.D. at GT. Hopefully that'll be Atlanta because his parents also live in the ATL area.

Hope to meet y'all sometime.
