Ann Rector has a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology, the study of human movement. Her passion for the human body's over-all wellness drew her towards Massage Therapy. With her complete understanding of anatomy and medical style, she is above the rest when it comes to therapeutic techniques.
Ann Rector is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Medical Massage Practitioner and Certified Oncology, Pregnancy, Labor Support, and Post-Partum Massage Specialist. Ann is also an instructor for Kinesiology and Pregnancy Massage at a local massage school in Destin. She is also certified in TMJ Massage and Compassionate Touch.
Ann formed The REACH Institute as an outreach to the community to RESPOND to a need to incorporate all aspects of healing into personal healthcare. We work hard to EDUCATE our clients on the benefits of muscular and soft tissue health and how Medical Massage can accomplish it. Our philosophy is to compassionately ATTEND to each client’s individual needs providing much needed support. Care and COMPASSION are the primary sources of the positive results achieved with Medical Massage and the techniques employed by Ann and her staff. And then HOPE, which is the precious gift that can make the biggest difference in someone’s life following a quality of health change.
