Hi SoWal gang,

My wife and I are arriving for a week long vacation on Sunday afternoon. We're staying at Seacrest Beach Resort just beside Rosemary Beach. We haven't been to the 30A area in quite a few years. We're interested in your recommendations for restaurants we can reach within:
1. a couple of miles of bicycling
2. within 10 miles to reach by car

Not really looking for Fine Dining. We love fresh Gulf Seafood, relaxed atmosphere and great service. We'll probably be looking for some Mexican food at some point during the week too. We will cook breakfast ourselves most of the time but a few good recommendations for breakfast would be good too.

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Gary

We just got back from great trip. We always enjoy very casual seacrest sundries -especially with crabby Steve's @ high point closed early this year( love their food, Margs) -great burgers and fries not $. Tried and really likes Edwards. We also like la crema too. La Cocina is good mexican.
The others listed are good suggestions. We sometimes get fish from Goatfeathers for our own sushi too.

Seacrest Sundries in Seacrest is a good casual place for breakfast or lunch.

La Cocina is one of my favorite places on Planet SoWal. There are many other great places down in Seacrest/Rosemary area.

Look at SoWal.com EAT page for articles and tidbits about Dining, and also be sure to browse the South Walton Dining Guide where you can search by town.

Let us know what you find and what you love.
