***VOLUNTEERS NEEDED**For this Sat-Nov 3rd in Santa Rosa Beach, 4 Way Intersection of 30A and CR 283, Grayton Beach. Seaside Rescue is having a Roadside Activity from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Trying to do 8-12 shifts and 12-3 or 4 shifts or all day. Looking like we need 12-3 people the most right now.

***PLEASE HELP US TO GET ENOUGH PEOPLE***It's a fun day with food and beverages provided and brings in much needed funding the rescue needs.

I thought groups panhandling was no longer allowed due to safety and traffic concerns?

They now require you to get a permit and they are only allowing so many a year. Plus
several other strict guidelines and rules to follow. All the State and Local departments are notified of the event and the local sheriff department is to check on event with regular
drive by's. We are only allowed to do 2 a year. This is our 2nd and last one for 2012.. It's the best fundraiser resource that us smaller rescues have access to. We are very careful and concerned for the volunteers, pedestrians, bikers, and drivers.
