We always ask business owners and employees how business is this year. Without exception, the answer is that it's the best ever, especially fall. We can vouch for that. We've never seen South Walton so busy, especially this fall. As an example, we had to wait for a table at La Cocina last weekend. We had one of the best times ever in South Walton at Whiskey Bravo on Friday night. Geoff McBride was there, wings were great, people were dancing, just a funn evening.

I agree. Happy to have to slow season not quite so slow this year. If we can handle the number of tourists by spreading out the business over the year, that would be great.

Yes I think the county has done a nice job building up shoulder seasons but can do a bit more to even things out. Locals love having some down time but not dead weeks.

If only every month could be like May or October - visitors here but not packed - nice and relaxed.
