Just out of curiosity, is there something about Goatfeathers that is less than ideal?

Nothing particular. It is in walking distance of my place, but I think prices are a little high. It may be that my love of Grouper is the problem.:D I am looking for other options to check out.

We stop in at Goatfeathers in Blue Mountain Beach and Seagrove often, especially to pick up a few pounds of steamed shrimp which they do on the spot and its so delicious! Seafood in SoWal is definitely pricey. There are seafood markets in PCB and Destin but not sure how pricing compares.

I think you'll find similar prices for grouper at most places from 30A to Destin.

I prefer the selection at Shrimpers to Goatfeathers but prices are generally within a dollar or 2 per lb.
