Guests look forward to a creative and varied menu of choices, a gluten-free menu, an impressive collection of carefully chosen wines, and an excellent dining experience.

Weekly specials include 25% off bottled wine on Tuesday (4-8pm) and 1/2 off specialty martinis on Wednesday (4-8pm). Menus available online for lunch, dinner, desserts, liqueours, scotches, small plates, to go, and gluten free at Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar website. Open daily at 11am.

I am confused!!!

Is this an ad or a review? In the past there has been an anti-chain sentiment on this website and now the site seems to be promoting a chain restaurant by reprinting a PR submission.

It is neither an ad or a review. Just info about a new business in our community that we think people want to know about. We often post info from press releases, or info sent directly to us. Should we add a disclaimer to such posts to help prevent confusion?

The next McDonald's that opens in SoWal you will likely read about it hear first. And then you will likely see posts from readers for and against.

Anyone ever eaten at Travinia?

It is a restaurant owned by the same people who have had good success with a few other places by the same name in other states. I haven't been yet. Anyone?

Not a fan of Italian chain restaurants but I wonder if this one will be different.

We have eaten there and really enjoyed it. We had spaghetti bolognese and grilled chicken Caesar salad. Both were very delicious. They serve hot bread and dipping oil as well. Also had moscato wine which was tasty as well.
