Thank god the TDC is under sane management or there would be a tornado of advertising forming.

Another good example of why we do not need the TDC spending countless local dollars on advertising. I hope the new admin. recognizes there are many other legitimate areas of concern other than marketing that need attention.

Now, would somebody go out there and buy up all the rest of the copies of USA Today, so nobody else learns about the secret...

First of all, potential visitors must be confused because there's Santa Rosa Beach the zip code, actual beach called Santa Rosa Beach that is within Santa Rosa Beach 32459 (of course, along with the other beaches here), then farther west there's Santa Rosa County and Santa Rosa Island (and maybe others), all in Florida.

I think that enough people "know" about our beaches by now as evidenced by the traffic in the spring and summer. We don't need any more advertising for those seasons. Highway 30A just can't take any more traffic then. If it gets worse, people will stop coming. That being said, if there is advertising, to help local businesses and those who rent vacation property, it should focus on the activities and beautiful weather during the fall and winter seasons.

Just one person's opinion.
