Marie's Bistro in Blue Mountain Beach has to be the busiest bistro on the coast with something new going on every season.

Here's a quick update on what Marie's has going on during early 2014.

Breakfast
Marie's Bistro offers an incredible breakfast Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:30 - 10:30. Try the Quiche of the Day, grab a biscuit on the go, or choose from one of the other great dishes on the breakfast menu.

Lunch
Marie’s Bistro serves lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 to 2:00. Every Tuesday through Friday Marie's offers a Soup and Salad buffet for just $8. If you're in a hurry for lunch this is perfect. You can be in and out in no time at all.

Dinner
Marie’s Bistro serves dinner every Tuesday through Saturday night starting at 4:00 p.m. Right now you can get the “Early Bird Special” for just $14 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. This includes your choice of one of the featured entrees and a soup or salad.

Happy Hour
Marie’s Bistro has a fantastic happy hour from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday offering half priced sushi, $2 Bud Light, $3 wine by the glass, $4 well drinks, $5 margaritas, and $5 appetizers. Stop in for a drink after work, bring the girls out for drinks, and start the date off right.

Sunday Brunch
Marie’s Bistro offers a brunch buffet from 10-2 p.m. every Sunday. Everything from eggs, quiche, meats, pancakes, French toast, salads, lunch items and more are available. Matt Hall plays live music while you enjoy friends, family, and good food. Enjoy a complimentary mimosa or glass of champagne with your brunch.

Live Music Entertainment

Matt Hall plays music ranging from classical, blues, rock, jazz, country, and more every Wednesday night and Sunday for brunch.

Tim Jackson
and Ike Bartley put on a great show on Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 p.m. Tim and Ike have been working together since the mid-nineties. With Tim’s smooth guitar style and Ike’s funky, percussive alto and tenor sax, they’ve quickly become the area’s most enjoyable duo.

Visiting and local musicians can be seen at Marie's for special events. Check SoWal.com Live Music Calendar for all the exciting live entertainment each week.

SoWal favorites: Spicy Shrimp Marie's, fresh fish tacos, penne pasta with pesto cream and shrimp, crawfish, spinach, feta, and portabellos, Blue Mountain sushi roll, Bistro sushi roll, seared tuna salad, grouper with sauteed shrimp, homemade chocolate pie, and fish and chips (Friday special but served daily).

You'll love this local bistro as much as us locals! Hanie, Marie and the team serve up delicious food in a warm atmosphere with great service.
Remember you can call in an order and then pick it up at the drive-thru. Or stop by Marie's to take in some live music and libations on the Bar Side. Or just take a date or the family out for a fun night out and dinner you won't soon forget.

Marie's Bistro is a wonderful place! Their service, ambiance and food are all fabulous. It is great that I am fortunate enough to live across the street from them. Kudos to Marie, Hanie and all the staff. They are certainly a credit to BMB.

On another note, I wonder if many locals really realize how lucky we are regarding restaurants? Places featuring wonderful foods exsist here like few other areas. We are, indeed, fortunate to have the variety and quality that we do.
