Nepotism in Walton County Schools

I agree with what you say. It would behoove you to remember that there are job qualifications for most positions one applies for. To paint all who have some distant relation to another, but are qualified to fill a position, is proposterous. I am against nepotism as much as the next guy but I certainly understand the position expressed by graytonbeachguy as well.

Where did I paint with a wide brush? I stated, and stand by, that when unqualified people are hired, Everybody loses.

I did not say, or imply, that I was referring to qualified people. If you got that, I can't imagine where from.

It seems that Walton County is also famous for hiring the least qualified people as well as unqualified people for positions in the school system. If someone is barely qualified with little experience, but has connections to the "right people" they jump to the top of the list.

Yep! Cronyism is a big problem too. The queen has lots of cronies.
