Not extreme or crazy at all . This is what our Spring Breaks look like now here in South Walton. We have laws and rules and both should be enforced and hopefully will be. Many applaud and support our local law enforcement and appreciate how they protect and serve all South Walton. This is how I want to see my tax dollars well spent!

I saw a post that the county sheriff's office is working on a new safety video. Have not seen it yet. I do hope it includes safety messages that go beyond underage drinking, such as beach safety, driving safety, local beach rules and ordinances, etc.

Deputies have arrested over 160 people as of 3:00 PM today.

800 arrests in all of spring break last year...160 arrests by the second day of spring break this year???? Looks like a slam dunk on breaking last year's record, folks!

So, what can we do with all the Bifs and Muffys? A fine, but also how about letting them spend the rest of their spring break week on a chain gang, clearing brush, picking up trash, raking, etc.

Let's give them a true SoWal bit of hospitality.

There is actually a retail space open in Seaside, if he advertised it as organic hemp he would sell out within hours. Maybe he was just doing field work in advance of the legalization bill.
