Couldn't agree with Steel1Man more... Honestly ever since moving here we have found the majority of restaurants to be a disappointing combination of quality to value given it's a tourist area so the need for a consistent quality is not necessary to be profitable. Coast Food + Wine was a notable exception and one of our absolute favorites for consistent quality and delicious food. The shrimp on their linguine dish ALWAYS tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly... I can't say the same for many of the 4-star places and press praised restaurants 'round here. And the kale salad was :up::up: too. The location kept us from eating in, but we got food to-go almost weekly and were pleasantly surprised they automatically extended the local special to take out orders too. Sad to see them go, but I hope they will try again in a much better location!
