SoWal sister company, Moon Creek Studios was also voted the People's Choice for Best Photographer. What a surprise as MCS is always working hard behind the scenes! Kurt Lischka is the photographer behind the images you see on SoWal.com galleries, stories, events and featured business pages. Moon Creek Studios also provides photography and video for area homes for real estate and vacation rentals, as well as for businesses. Kurt is a UF graduate of photo journalism using his talents in local photography since 1998 and online publishing since 2004. (he's probably also going to delete this part, but I am proud of his work).

The Perfect in South Walton awards were announced at the TDC's annual meeting recently. Read the Best of the Best in South Walton 2016 results in dining, entertainment, outdoor, shopping and more. You'll see many people and favorite spots around town listed as the Best of the Best and you'll be proud too.

This was the second year for the Perfect in South Walton survey, with many more nominations and higher voter participation. We hope to work with the TDC to get the word out even earlier next year to encourage more nominations on your favorite places, events, businesses, etc..
