So much for Leave No Trace!

Even more ridiculous considering all the vendors who drive on Grayton despite not having a permit!

No it is not leagal to trample dunes. I think the county has said it is OK for vendors to pile stuff at the toe of the dunes but that is a ridiculous thing to let them do. And that is on top of a dune. What an idiot.

It all comes down to ENFORCEMENT.

Regardless, who you choose to point the finger at, WCSO, Mike Adkinson, TDC, TDC Code Enforcement, the point is that there is NO ENFORCEMENT OF ANYTHING AROUND HERE AND ALL OF YOU PEOPLE ON THIS SITE ALLOW THE COUNTY TO GET AWAY WITH IT!!!!

Bay County arrested a vendor at Edgewater Beach just this weekend over code violations regarding chair set ups. He was later released with no charges but he can no longer set up random chairs that remain UN-occupied all day. He will only set up chairs once customers arrive. They also have a 30 feet code which states the first 30 feet of beach belong to the public to use as it wishes with no beach commerce,

Sounds like Walton County could take a lesson.

Wishful thinking...

This will never happen in Walton County.
