We are not familiar with the school system here as we don't have children, so it was surprising to drive past Bay Elementary (up 395/Pt. Washington) and see so many new classroom trailers outside. I'm shocked really, in a county that is rich in tourism, that we are educating our county's youth in multiple trailers instead of a proper physical expansion of the school.
Does anyone know if these trailers are temporary and/or what the plan is going forward? Is this something that could be addressed by incorporation by creating a city school system instead of county?
