It sure looks good. I will miss redneck dive Coram's for hangover breakfast, though. Wonder what the prices will look like considering the team launching it versus location in no man's land PCB.

Back Beach Barbecue Opens in Panama City Beach

Serving lunch and dinner daily

WHAT:

The team behind Back Beach Barbecue will officially open their doors to the public Monday, June 19, 2017.

Located in the space formerly occupied by Coram’s on Back Beach Road (Panama City Beach Parkway), visitors to Back Beach Barbecue will instantly be greeted by the restaurant’s two Lang reverse flow smokers, fondly known as “Smokey” and “The Bandit”.

Dedicated to crafting barbecue the old-fashioned way using stick-burning smokers, Chef/Partner Mark Eichin, and Pitmasters Chris Mack and Shane Kirkland are slow smoking their meats all day over locally sourced oak wood. Meats include brisket, pork, chicken, sausage, turkey and ribs.

All meats are served un-sauced, but for those looking to add sauce to their meats, Back Beach Barbecue offers four homemade sauces: House, Spicy Three Pepper, Carolina Mustard and an Alabama White Sauce made with Grayton Beer Company’s Beach Permit Blonde Ale. Continuing its unpretentious, tribute to the classics, Back Beach Barbecue’s menu is simple, yet refined with six sides, homemade desserts, local craft and domestic beers, premium wines and classic sodas such as Topo Chico and Grapico.

Beginning Monday, June 19, Back Beach Barbecue will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner beginning at 11:00 a.m. Just in time for the Fourth of July, those interested in having Back Beach Barbecue cater their holiday parties should call 850-249-0822.

ABOUT:

Back Beach Barbecue opened in June 2017 by Danny and Monica Cosenzi, the duo behind the famed Restaurant Paradis located in Rosemary Beach. Back Beach Barbecue offers a delicious, refined menu highlighted by 12-hour slow cooked meats, simple homemade sides and four sauces which are made in house.

At the center of attention are the restaurant’s two wood fired pits, “Smokey” and “The Bandit”, easily viewed and smelled from the covered patio, outdoor patio or via two garage doors which give the restaurant a true open-air feel. Back Beach Barbecue also offers catering for private and corporate events, delivery and a mobile food truck. The restaurant is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, beginning at 11:00am. For more information, please follow Back Beach Barbecue on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Information can also be obtained via www.backbeachbarbecue.com or by calling 850-249-0822.

Went by for a late supper last night...they must have had a fantastic opening day, because at 6:30 they posted a sign stating they had run out of food. Going back tonight, but earlier this time. Yum, can't wait. Chris is a great chef/pitmaster!

Do you have a report to share? Anyone? Looking forward to trying it out.

Food was great. Like all newly opened restaurants, they have some fine tuning to do, but all in all they are headed towards success. The brisket was wonderful and the sauces are tasty; their sides are really good too, Next time we are getting the ribs and pulled pork. Give them a try, you won't be sorry.

Went last night on the way to Pier Park. The ribs are AWESOME...meaty and cooked to fall off the bone perfection. Hubby had the half chicken which was delicious. Great redskin potato salad!! They smoke their meats the Carolina way--rubbed with a smoky, spicy blend of salt and lots of black pepper, garlic, onion, smoked paprika, chili powder. We liked it so much we even bought a bottle of the Down 'n Dirty House rub to take home.
