From the creative chef team of Stinky's Fish Camp and Trebeaché - Red Fish Taco is now open near the front entrance of Trebeache in Redfish Village. Serving up pure taco goodness on Scenic 30A in Blue Mountain Beach from 11:00-8:00 PM daily.

I can't wait to try! What a great concept. The Stinky's/Trebeache team first opened a pop up taco shop at Redfish Village during 30A Songwriters Festival in January and it was a big hit. Now named Red Fish Taco - looks like a convenient spot to pick up or eat on the patio in front of Trebeache restaurant.

We could use a taco truck on every corner. This is a little more than a taco truck though. It's located in the small space just at the entrance to Trebeache, and next to the patio seating area. We'll report back with our food report soon! Meanwhile please let us know your experience!!!

We tried it tonight. The fam and I give it a 6 out of 10. Affordable and good enough to try again, but not spectacular.

Gringos riff too much on “tacos”. A perfectly or near perfectly done carnitas taco with cilantro and onions and a well made salsa is unbeatable as a flavor bomb. That doesn’t exist here, Chalupita not withstanding, yet establishments are dressing meat tacos like fish tacos. Los Rancheros has improved tremendously and almost gets it right occasionally but consistency of product is their Kryptonito. Most places take the lazy way out and pull their carnitas out of a slow cooker, Dutch oven, or other braising method and leave them wet. Fine for roast beef on a debris sandwich but no bueno for carnitas. I’d put my money where my mouth is and rectify the situation but just the thought of working that hard makes me want to puke. Oh and for the record I really like Trebeache. As good a value as is on 30a if one orders right. And those focaccia rolls are fantastico! It’s just hard to get the servers or cooks to part with them. I ask for “more than one please” and I get another half piece that has been ripped off of a whole. Maybe they want to save them all for family meal, I would.
