I have a 3 bdrm 1 bath cottage in SRB. I am wanting to rent out one of the rooms. I work full time and have 2 dogs. This is what I am looking for in a roommate: You must have proof of employment and reliable transportation. You also must fill out a rental application (no fee) so I can let the landlord know someone else is living there. This is a requirement. I ask that you be clean, responsible, and provide a background check. I ask that you be respectful of me and my dogs. I need you to be good to my dogs, they are great pups and deserve a lot of love. They need to like you if this is going to work out. And I always follow the rule, “if my dogs don’t like someone than I shouldn’t either.” They are the best judge of character. Also, I ask that you not be a partier and treat my home as a place that provides peace and a place of relaxation. No Drama! I don’t need it in my life. Mostly, I want to have a good relationship with my roommate where we both respect each other and our personal things. With that being said, Rent is $500 a month plus 1/2 of utilities: power, water, internet. Estimate about $700 a month. I am requesting a security deposit upon rental, to cover any damages that might take place. Room is unfurnished. Washer and dryer are in the house.
