We just returned from another fabulous week on 30A, except for the red tide, We love 30A so much! I have some sort of rash on my legs, so I was wondering if any locals might know what caused this. I have attached a couple of pictures. Thanks for any insight! As always, thanks for sharing your glorious beaches with these STL folks.

Did you have any itching or burning at the first time you noticed it? Was it after being in the gulf? If you went in the gulf was it wading only or whole body?
Did you venture into the woods?
Anywhere else on your body?
Itching now?

My whole body was in the gulf, but probably mostly my legs. It does itch; didn’t go in any woods. The rash appeared as we were driving home to STL today. No rash anywhere else.

Most likely toxins from red tide. Should lessen in a few days. Use Calamine lotion or corticosteroid cream. If it doesn't go away in a few days see a dcotor / dermatologist.
