Northwest Florida Theatre Festival is a Stage For All at Emerald Coast Theatre Company May 14 - 19 in Grand Boulevard. The Festival is presented by Emerald Coast Theatre Company and is part of CAA's Art Month South Walton. This year’s Festival includes a group of participants that bring unique and original content to the stage. Come support these performers as they entertain, make you laugh and amaze you in their abilities and talent. It is an experience not to be missed. Tickets are on sale for individual performances or festival pass to all shows.

Show times will be Wednesday-Friday between 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday between 9 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Festival show ticket prices are set by each producing organization and will range from $15 to $25. All access passes will be available for purchase for $100. The Festival will be staged at Emerald Coast Theatre Company’s performance space located at 560 Grand Boulevard, upstairs, in Grand Boulevard at Sandestin in Miramar Beach, Florida.

The mission of the Northwest Florida Theatre Festival is to unify the theatre and performing arts groups of Northwest Florida and showcase the talent, work, and productions of numerous organizations and people. The 2019 Festival includes Stand up Comedy, Comedy, an original Musical Drama, Aerial Arts, Burlesque, Spoken Word, Drama and Historical Drama.

THE LIVE BARD
For the past fourteen years, Peter Thomas has traveled the country, from the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes, appearing before audiences as “The Live Bard”, giving dramatic recitations of classic works of “narrative verse,”—poems that tell a story.

For this upcoming performance, this “affable iconoclast” will recite venerated tales of fanciful humor as well as those that offer insight into the human condition. He may lampoon a modern poet or two and will include some of his own “narrative verse with an attitude.”

Winston Churchill: Through The Storm
HOUSE OF MONKEYS
WINSTON CHURCHILL: THROUGH THE STORM takes place late in the evening of July 23, 1945. The setting is Potsdam, Germany, site of a summit conference of the victorious Allies following the defeat of Nazi Germany. British Prime Minister Winston Churchill has just hosted a banquet for U.S. President Harry Truman and Soviet Generalissimo Josef Stalin. He is about to return to England to learn the results of a parliamentary election which will determine whether or not he will return to the conference as Britain’s war leader and help plan both the defeat of Japan and the balance of power in the post-war world. Over brandy and cigars he reminisces about his personal and public life, the war, and the possible future. Moving back and forth from past to present, between his chair and a podium representing his place in the House of Commons, Churchill recalls his worst and finest hours.
