This info was posted on the how low the Choctawhatchee River is right now. And it is expected to go lower. I wanted to ask some of you who have been for a long time: If you notice measurement number three, it says 0.00 on 10/10/1982, and even negative in 1968 and 1969. Anyone remember the Choctawhatchee River being dry?

Cedar Tree Landing on the Choctawhatchee River Sept. 18, 2019. River is currently at 5.06 ft. and predicted to drop.
Low Water Records
(1) -0.47 ft on 10/30/1969
(2) -0.31 ft on 09/16/1968
(3) 0.00 ft on 10/10/1982
(4) 0.06 ft on 09/25/1972
(5) 0.59 ft on 07/20/1981

Not sure what dry would be. Hard to believe the Choctawhatchee could even get low enough to be just a creek.

Stage is the water level above some arbitrary point, usually with the zero height being near the river bed, in the river and is commonly measured in feet. For example, on a normal day when no rain has fallen for a while, a river might have a stage of 2 feet (baseflow conditions).
Water Q&A: What does the term "river stage" mean?

It certainly has been dry the last few months. Curious where the river flow data came from.
