What are ya'll seeing these days as to sales activity? I thought at first that the market would be dead forever. In May, however, two brokers are telling me it isn't so bad in 30A or PCB. Showings were way down at first but are now down only a little - maybe 17%. One person told me he believes the buyers of Panhandle second homes are more affluent and less affected by the virus. I also saw an article that said Myrtle Beach sales were actually up 3% over last year.

I still don't know what to think but as an owner, I am thirsty for any good news.

Spoke with another broker on St George Island. She said that business there is not off at all. None of this is scientific but it IS encouraging.

Real estate report on SoWal home page for March closed sales were OK bu pending down 47%. There will be a lag and sales in the system but doubt many contracts were signed after mid March. Showings probably picking up again now a bit. We'll see a lot more remote sales photos and video more important than ever. Rental analysis also.
