Such a great story! We have had a second home in Seagrove for more than 10 years--live full time only 4 hours away. It is all that you say--and more. The sense of community we see and hear about from our many full time friends, is wonderful. Small, but sophisticated--and zero stuffiness. Beauty...

I have a serious question. Why does Seaside restrict golf carts, unless seaside registered guests/owners, from parking? Our home is half a mile away and we enjoy getting to Seaside through backroads (dirt), avoid traffic and easy to park. I honestly don't understand why/how they consider this...

Hate to see anyone go out of business on 30A---but, always favor the local shops. Grayt Coffee and Amavida are both excellent and by far my favorites over starbucks.

this is being done to control crowded parking? i think the more likely outcome is to "control" people shopping there. I would never consider paid parking to shop. Bike or walk for me from now on---but, not happy about this move which seems more about money than control.

Quite honestly, that is one opinion. Many, many other people disagree with you-including me. I consider them far better than dunkin. Not even close. They are similar, to me, to Donut Hole, which is great. Price? Come on, how many Dunkins price has to accommodate beach rental?

have a house there. we consider it a great area. an easy 5 miute walk to the beach, 10 minute bike to seaside and less hectic than most other areas. a nice mix of full time owners and some rentals. a nice, quiet neighborhood with 2 pools.

First, Caliza is fantastic! I really enjoy it. That said, $52 for a brunch? I will be very surprised if they did not overshoot the target....they overshot this target for sure. I truly wish them well, but that is sky high....

well, first of all--you have too many zeros....it is a $30,000 trophy. Next, hey, its hard to walk through Tuscaloosa without running into a Championship trophy....we've got bunches!

Sorry,but laugh when I see comments like this. If they did, your bill would go up--very noticeably. Underground power is a premium, and as such, everyone pays for it.

I can assure you once you got YOUR PORTION of the cost, and you would, you would feel much differently
