A question for those that are not native: How did you get to SoWal? Did you vacation there regularly and then decide to move there? Did you retire there? What's your story?

I have stayed there three times (two different units). It is well kept and centrally located (you can walk/bike many places). We stayed in a different unit this last trip because we got a dog last year. He likes RT:

Hello neighbor! :wave: My wife and I leave Saturday for our third visit to SoWal in four years. Once you've been, you can't stay away!

Ooo...only a few more days until I'm in Seagrove Beach. We leave Saturday morning and will be there for dinner. :clap::clap::clap:

Unfortunately, the condo we usually stay in is not pet friendly (we got a dog last fall), but we have paid a deposit for another condo in the same unit. I can't wait to visit Seagrove again! :wave:

"wrobert from the internet sent me." :D Thanks all for the tips. It is unfortunate that junior won't be allowed to be on the beach with us, but there's still lots of walking to do on the pavement. I like the idea of the Bark Park too. Are pets allowed in the surrounding state parks?
