What has the powers to be in Seaside been smoking? The must be completely out of their pea picking minds. We found this little piece of paradise by accident and ever since we have been coming twice a year for several years. While on 30A we make several trips a day to eat and shop in Seaside...

Durbin Farms in Clanton AL should have them. It is located right off I65 exit 205. This is a very good place to eat a lunch and take a break from driving--good food, wonderful produce, gift shop, and the very best homemade peach ice cream.

Absolutely awesome!!!! Being in SoWal makes me so happy, so calm, so content. That's why I am there all the time-in my mind.

How far is the beach from Sable Point condos in Seacrest? It looks to be in the back of the development. How long would it take to walk to the beach walkover? Is the tropical pool lighted at night year round? Looks like it would really have a beautiful view. Thanks.

I wanted to thank Dave for including visitors at the 25th Anniversary Celebration. He greeted us graciously as if we were special just like the locals. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Just wanted to tell Miss Kitty-I blew it! I was standing close by and so shy I didn't say hello...

San Remo is a beautiful complex near Gulf Place. The grounds are georgous and very well maintained {love the pond}, a huge pool, and hot tub and a gym {if you are so inclined.} Oh, I love that place!

Stinky's has most excellent food! It is our favorite restaurant on 30A when we visit. My husband loves the raw oysters and Stinky's stew. I love the salad with some kind of cane dressing. We will be there in two weeks also!!!:D:D

Need opinions on this camera-- I have seen photos taken with this camera, and they are outstanding. My current camera is a Canon A560, and my photos don't compare to those with the Sony H20 in color and crispness. Simplicity with good quality is what I want. Love taking photos in SoWal...

We will be in SolWal in October--been waiting since May! We live in Middle Tennessee, and my heart stays in SolWal every day. Have a great trip! Enjoy the beach and Cafe 30A.:D

I always use the matte finish; and also use non-glare glass. I think it makes the photograph look richer.:D

I am hoping San Remo at Santa Rosa beach is going to be our special place. We have reservations in October. San Remo does sits somewhat further back from the ocean, but it is on the south side of 30A.
