    Keep Off The Dunes

    When I was a kid (60's) the dunes were so large that it was impossible to mistake if it was a dune or not....Now its hard to even see a dune in a photo.

    I love to crab!! I will be there the 14th and I have the same problem. As a child I always crabbed off a pier behind a house on Garfield Ave. (the Pink house---Oldtimers stomping grounds) and loved every minute of it.

    I visited next door to "Leo's Lair" a couple of weeks ago, with a very close friend of the Mayo family. I was told that the asking price is still $2.5. Lovely place.

    here i am Hey there...I have been here, longing to be there!! I can't wait til our visit Mothers day weekend. I can't think of a better way to spend mothers day, since my kids are all grown up......just me and my sis, acting ike we are 12 again, not even sophisticated 13 yr olds.

    The Store I am one of those fortunate souls that spent a great deal of my youth at "The Store". True "The Store" was the beach, but I spent a lot of time on Pinkstons Pier. Oldtimer, Doug, & to all the Pinkstons......Your pier was my slice of heaven, I spent many hours there crabbing...

    eden Great pictures....Did you ever see the movie that was filmed there at Eden? The Frogs? I was about 8 or 9 when it came out and we went to the theatre to see it, probably only because it was filmed there.

    Where's everybody from?

    I am from Gadsden, AL. I grew up traveling to Grayton several months a year. My dad built a house on Garfield for a friend of his, so we still get to enjoy it, but not often enough. I live for the day that I can be there year round.
