In Tallahassee, We are having a great deal of rain and wind. Trees and debris are on the roads and the gusts are up to 40MPH. This should be about all we will see here I think. I'm much more concerned about you guys at the beach. It just made landfall at Gulf Breeze. Be safe! Jeanne

Thank you for your information. I grew up down at Grayton with the Haynes and I am so sorry I didn't know about her death in time to attend the funeral. I now live in Tallahassee. It truly will never be the same with out Bets. My thoughts and love go out to all that knew her and are mourning...

:twisted:I've been on the beach in the middle of the winter while it was raining and not a soul on the beach with my 2 dogs and been stopped by the Sheriff. Fortunately only a warning issured. I got their tags after that. Didn't figure it was worth the $125.00 he wanted to charge me!! :wink...

:D As locals call it..."TEATIME" on the beach at sunset! You simply can't beat it. Your favorite beverage and friends on the most beautiful beach in the world. I wish I was there now.

:roll: I am from Tallahassee but I grew up in Grayton Beach. My family has been going there for more than 60 years. I have a house in old Grayton now that I rent and use when it isn't rented. I would love to live there full time...but I'll have to wait for retirement.
