You may want to join the Yahoo! group called vacation_rentals, if you haven't already. Lots of talk about vacation rental websites and good discussion about vacation rentals in general. Of course, Kurt's SoWal family of sites specialize in South Walton rentals!;-)

We took a group of wine loving firends from Chicago to the Wine Dinner at Great Southern on Thursday night. Vintner was Calistoga and cost was $75 each. We were impressed with both wine and food courses. Wine was flowing freely! Great job, Great Southern! Loved the YaYa grits!:clap_1:

My 80+ parents visited SoWal with me this summer. They loved, loved, loved Another Broken Egg (went two days in a row and ordered the same thing each time!). They liked Cafe 30-A, but food was a little too fancy for their taste. They very much liked Captain Anderson's in Panama City...

Coastal Window Fashions in the plaza with Shades at the Loop is good, too. She was recommended to me by Susan Byrd, manager of Pizitz Home and Cottage in Seaside.

I've heard raves about the spa in Rosemary, not sure of the name. I've been to Spa Blue in Grayton...great marketing material got me a gift certificate there, but facility and service are average at best. I won't go again.
