    Choctawhatchee River Paddle Trail

    Fishing St Joseph Bay/ Cape San Blas area

    Scallop season opens June 25th and runs through Sept 25th. Be sure to get in some scalloping while you're there. We plan on going over several times this summer just to scallop. :)

    What is this?

    I managed to find this picture of the one she found on Okaloosa Island. It was crawling along the bottom. I'll include the information she found on it: "This is a Sea Hare of the sea slug family. Google "Sea Hare" or "Aplysia fasciata" to find out more. I think it was eating seaweed. :) :) :)"

    What is this?

    Looks like a sea slug. There are several varieties of this shell-less snail. My friend found one on Okaloosa Island last year. Unusual little critters.
