    Real estate for Dummies

    <---- That way. I can't be specific right now because of my business.. It is true though. Ten year project that one is slated. I can tell you that if you look on the Walton County Appraiser's web site you can find the ones in Walton county easily. Search 800 acres and up. A lot of these...

    Real estate for Dummies

    I don't agree with this. As folks have said, the market is a little soft right now but real estate goes in cycles. It's my belief the cycles in SoWal will be shorter than most locations because of the proximity to the Gulf. People want to be by water and SoWal has lots of water. IMHO, there were...

    Cool. Not for sale, just for fun and enjoyment. Thank you! Right now I am using the same one I have as an avatar for my desktop. :lol: The more you look at the pictures, the more addicted to them you get. My wife thinks I am a beach photo junkie. Of which I readily admit! :)

    I would only do it with their permission and with the dot com labels on the photos. I would not do it otherwise.

    @Kurt & SJ

    Kurt and SJ, First off, thanks for taking and sharing so many great photos with us. Secondly, is there any way you guys could make the really cool photos in 800 x 600 resolution? When some of the pictures are stretched across the computer desktop they either get warped or grainy.

    A commentary on the bubble

    Just heard on the radio that Baton Rouge is in the middle of a real estate boom and shortage. According to the reporter, the population went from 300,000 to to 400,000 overnight. We may get some but I don't know how many.

    A commentary on the bubble

    True, but I think after the meeting with Bush today, he decided to suspend the three scheduled rate hikes for this year. Check the news.

    Sales on 30A for July/Aug 2005

    I'm sure. The storms came early this year which also slowed the summer activity. The beach is the beach. What I mean is that there have always been storms and there will be storms in the future. The SoWal area is a special place and people will always want to be there. That is the good news. I...

    A commentary on the bubble

    Is this ludicrous or plausable? To start with, I feel sorry for all the folks that got hit by Katrina. I even sent in a donation to the Red Cross. I know this is a sensitive subject for everybody and my heart goes out to all of the effected people. That being said, So. Walton is mostly a...
