Call me a bad employee, but when I was a line cook, hood cleaning was a laughable chore. It was nasty, you had to use harsh chemicals, and it was never anything minimum wage could compensate... I think one of the primary complaints with the Eastern Lake outfall is that the lake water goes out, but the Gulf water does not come back in (as it does with ALL other unobstructed dune lakes). Without gulf water, the lake is showing more freshwater traits, as can be seen on monthly CBA water...

I think the county did the backhoe work. There was a BCC tractor on the east shore with telltale sand in the bucket, and with my expert CSI skills, the tires seemed to match the tracks... But why would they just half-ass the job? It looks like someone was just playing around...
