June grass? I've been watching the beach cams lately.....eagerly anticipating our yearly trip the first of August. What am I seeing in the water? Is it some heavy June grass? It almost looks RED on the beach cams. Did notice some beach goers in the water this morning....Maybe it's clearing?

Our family is renting a home in the Sunrise beach area this August. Can anyone help me to find a place to launch and anchor a 22 foot sailboat that my brother in law is wanting to bring? Thanks

Have some friends trying to get me to go to Cape San Blas for a week next year. We've never been. How's the water there. Is the sand and water the same as in SoWal?

We went to the "V" in Seagrove. Wish we hadn't. We had children, and was not impressed with their "attitude" My hubby's dinner was not good, and mine was not something I would ever have to eat again. Thanks for the advice... wish we would have taken it.

We had my daughter's small wedding at Grayton State Park just before sundown. Beautiful spot for the wedding, and lots of parking. No stairs to the beach.

Can anyone suggest a photographer for our small beach wedding? We would only need their service for about an hour. Like to do it for little money if we can. We already have our decorations lined up and an officaiate for the ceremony. Just need someone to take the pics for us.

During our visit in August, our family was fortunate to see the two manatees patroling along the beach. My husband swears that a few years ago, while out in the kayak in some pretty rough water, he saw a seal. Has anyone ever saw anything like this before? Our sighting of the manatees brought...

We've stayed in Blue Mountain the last 2 Augusts. Where we accessed, the beach was not too crowded. I know that close to the condos, Blue Mountain can be very busy. We have booked in Sunrise Beach neighborhood next August. I'm sure it will be a wonderful week, even if a little busy.

I am wanting to comply with the new ordinance. Give me a break here. I don't feel I'm entitled to leave my items on the beach simply because I'm putting out thousands of dollars for my week at the beach. My family usually leaves the beach cleaner after we leave. We are always picking up trash...

My family wants to comply with the new ordinance. My question is, my brother-in-law is bringing his catamaran, does he need to remove the cat from the beach every night? Last year he just left it next to the private stairs.

We always do the 64 to 57 to 24 to 65 to 331 route. Takes about 11 to 12 hours of easy driving. We went thru MS one year to avoid weather from a hurricane that was coming north. Longest trip we ever made to the beach. Mobile was a nightmare.

Your right about the changing water conditions. I've witnessed that myself. I will pass on all the good info to my brother-in-law. Maybe we can change his mind about bringing the big sailboat. He brought his little cat last year and it was alot of funn. Thanks again!

My brother-in-law is wanting to bring his sail boat to the beach this year. It's a pretty good size sail boat. Would need to anchor it off shore. Are there size restrictions for the beach at Blue Mountain? Where would he have to launch from? Thanks

Not all summer renters leave their crap on the beach. When we are down we always pick up litter.

We stayed in the Eastern Lake area last summer. The beach access is flatter than in other areas, but the beach was more crowded than we like.

Where is this in Inlet Beach? Our family will be renting in this area for the first time this year. Looks beautiful!
