There are sharks a lot bigger than that out there! Lucky for us the Destin Shark Fishing Rodeo has returned to help keep the population in check. Now, if they would only clean the sharks and donate the fillets to local food banks. Shark makes a great substitute for hamburger meat in both lasagne...

go to funky blues shack in destin. The new one is opening soon in baytwowne wharf as well, and dread clampitt will be playing there on wednesdays.I think they are playing there today too. dewey destins on the pass is a great place for lunch.

Dead Fish Charters is usually booked up a ways in advance and it is best to make a reservation at least a few months ahead of time. Occasionally there are cancellations and a last minute trip is possible. Out of Destin I would recommend fishing with Capt.Pat Atkins on the Strike Zone. Beautiful...

Port.St Joe is actually a cool little town. If you make it to the festival be sure to go "downtown" and check out the shops on Reid Avenue. Bookstores,art galleries, etc.................. Just keep in mind it is a 2 stoplight town and hotel/motel rooms are limited.

Dead Fish Charters Capt.Larry Pentel 685-1092 He has returned from tarpon fishing and is launching off grayton most everyday possible until he returns to the pass to chase fish in november. 21 trips ran this summer, 23 tarpon jumped....not a bad average

yeah......... shes purple too!! I have a few girlfriends who havent surfed in a while either. Maybe we'll all get our bearings about us again and go out off grayton, show the boys how its done.
