Red and yellow, kill a fellow, red and black a friend of Jack. So if red meets yellow it is a coral snake, and if red meets black it is ok. Also, coral snakes do not have fangs like most people think of fangs, so it has to be attached for a period of time to get its toxin in you.

As far as seafood goes, its average. Lots of better choices in the area.

There are two restaurants that I will not go to specifically b/c of the multitude of negative comments on SoWal. It was not one bad review, it was many. I appreciate the honesty.

How long is 30a from end to end? I've never spent anytime on the western most section. The farthest west we go is to Amore. I've riden a beach crusier there from Eastern lake before.

That is true that there are very few, but when we were down a few weeks ago, we looked at two that are for sale but that are not rentals at this time (They were not furnished). One of those was on Pine Needle. It had one of the largest private pools that I have ever seen around Seagrove.

I looked at VRBO and could only find one with a private pool that sleeps 14.

we have been coming to Seagrove for almost 10 years too. We have always rented homes with private pools. Never looked at ones that didn't. This year we rented a home in Watercolor that obviously does not have a pool but the pool is only 100 yards or so away. We wanted to try Watercolor but...

Staying in watercolor. Are there any work out facilities close by that will allow me to pay for a week? I would just run the bike paths as I have in the past but I have developed a severe case of planar fasciitis and can only do low impact stuff, i.e. elliptical machine.

331 may be shorter but the 55 route is faster. Less traffic. Plus you stay on interstate longer so the 80mph speed helps you catch up on time.

You are wrong about the cottonmouth. They will chase you. I grew up on a lake in the Arkansas delta and worked many summers on rice farms. I have been chased by more cottonmouths (or water moccasins) then I could even begin to count. They are the most aggressive pit viper in the US.

If you rent a boat be sure and check in early. They over book the boats when busy and if you get there after too late, there will be no boat. Happened to me I was furious to say the least. The rental place acted like they had never heard of us. we went to another place that had a boat...

The one piece of advice I would give you is if you rent a pontoon, check in early. Many of the rental companies over book and if you get there 15 minutes b/f cast off time your boat maybe gone. it happened to me. We found a boat from another place, but I was more than a little upset.
