In Kurt's first picture you can clearly see the "pink" house that sits between the houses on S. Ryan Street and the beach. That is exactly where the walk over is for Summer's Edge. Lots of people in a small area.

Don't know about the above but the victim did live at TN School for the Deaf in Knoxville. His parents live in Clarksville, TN, but the school is a live-in situation for all the students. He was an incredible football player and all around "good" young man. Would have graduated next spring...

Hubby and I saw a shark in the bay in October, while going over the 331 bridge. We went into a pool supply store for just a few minutes, and saw the shark again while driving back to Seagrove. Beautiful sight.

:yikes:I feel EXACTLY the way you do. I had never seen snakes at the beach until I started going to SoWal. As much as I love the place - I don't know why they don't put snake fences around the whole area!

If you don't mind the short drive, Acme Oyster House in BayTowne (?) has great ones! That is always a fun place for kids too. :wave:
