I read this entire thread with great interest as I own a house on Snapper St in Blue Mountain Beach set up as a short-term rental & I have some questions!!!! I truly appreciate everyone's input & overall tone on this board- it's been great & I've really learned quite a lot about the area...

This has happened to me several times; I don't "hold" any dates at all- I just take the first guest that's ready to confirm with a deposit and signed rental agreement.

Yep, I seem to recall a note in the Destin Log about this, typical project delays.

My experience with the BBB has been frustrating too; seems like they just want to sell a membership. Word of mouth can kill a business, especially with postings on a board like this!
