I have heard certain places have rules similar. Not sure the specfic reason why C.A.R.A would. However, if they are as close to shutting down as it seems I would assume that exceptions would be made. Would you like me to contact them and find out the offical reason?

I use tempura batter (avail at most grocery stores) to coat and fry frim tofu with. It is bad for ya, but sooo yummy! Make sure you lightly squeeze the tofu to remove excess water.
