Rachel Ray had a recipe Called Deconstructed Guac. She grilled the avocados and halved jalepenos on the grill. You take the avocado, halved jalepenos, grape tomatoes, cilantro and lime slices and put it on top of a New York Strip. But the grilled avocado on anything would be good

Although we have had some great meals in SOWAL, D&K's bb-q shrimp. Still crave it. Have tried to duplicate with no such luck :cry: Can't wait to come back

We went to D and K's and can't wait to go back. The food and atmosphere was amazing. When my husband asks what we are doing for dinner I tell him Barbque shrimp. We haven't been able to make that flight back yet:idontno:. Enjoy all the great recommendations.

Have to say that I have been to both Dewey Destin and Hurricane Oyster Bar and have nothing but good things to say. Dewey Destin is definitely off the beaten path. The first time we were there wasn't quite sure what we stubled on to. Now it is our first stop once we hit Destin.
